Shy

Dear Helen,

I like this guy who is real cute, sweet and adorable. Sadly though, he has a girlfriend. I still like him. Can't seem to forget about him nor get over him. My friends suggest I should call him, since I want to talk to him, but talking doesn't seem to work well for me. I lose my voice and the conversation can become awkward. Trust me, I know. What should I do? Keep on liking him, or move on?
From Shy

Dear Shy,

I don't want to come harsh at you, but there really is no other way to put this. I think you should move on because he's with someone. But then again, at this age, nothing is for certain. For now though, remain friends with him, get to know him better and maybe you'll become best friends or something like that with him. I don't think it's a great idea to continue having this crush on him for he won't be into you. About the calling thing, it's a good idea, if you just call him for school things or what not. Yes, I know it sounds stupid, but if you call him about anything else, the conversation can get off topic, and be really weird at times. You don't have to talk about school, just carry a normal conversation like you would with anyone else. Forget about the fact that you like him, just talk like you would with your friends. I know it's hard getting over someone, but it'll be better to do it now on your own will, then later when he breaks your heart by completing someone else's.

Best of luck!

Bored again

I'm writing on this on the new laptop we got. :) It's reaalllyy cool and new.

One of the cool things about this is it has voice and video, so now I can voice/video chat. :) Anyways, it's real new and awesome.

Alrighty. Back to my rambling...

Well, no one's really given me any ideas so I an gonna make one up. :)

Dear Helen,

I have a friend who is mean and kinda bipolar. She tends to change her mind and viewpoints easily. I love being friends with her, but every now and then she'll have a moment and then she loses her temper. I don't know what to do. I still want to be friends with her, but I don't know if I can handle all these outbreaks anymore. What should I do?
From, Confused in Friendsville

Dear Confused in Friendsville,

If you really like being friends with her, then remain friends with her. You should explain how you feel towards these "outbreaks" she has. I have personal experience and I know what it feels like. Just hold you breath when she's having an outburst, and get on with life. This friend, if she doesn't understand how you feel toward her bipolarness, then she isn't really a truthful friend. Find a new friend, one who understands and will listen. Hope this helps!

This is pathetic

Sigh. Waste of time? No one's really reading this so I'm gonna start rambling about my life. :)

I have to practice violin 5 hours a day, every day for the next two weeks to prepare for the Houston Civic Competition. Haha. I've been shortchanging the time every day, but it's okay. Well, if I do practice 5 hours a day every day, then i'll get my ears pierced! Sigh. It's hard though. My hands are raw from practicing 2 1/2 hours!

Christmas is almost here!
Ready for Christmas? What do you want this year? Tell me your thoughts.

I don't know what I want for Christmas. I don't want anything really. I guess I already have everything. Actually, I do!
I have:
1. Friends who love me (i think)
2. Family who love me (hopefully)
3. Home
4. some money

OOH! I want freedom. I would like to be able to get some freedom and trust from my parents. :) That way, I can go to movies, malls etc. or anywhere with my friends.

I'm done rambling now. I don't know what else to say because I've run out of things to say. So tell me your thoughts and I'll start writing again. Or just wait for me to have an epiphany. :)

Have a good day!
